OOPS! I screwed up!

I forgot this post was scheduled to post. It's not meant to post until Second Chance at Forever is completed. Which, it DEFINITELY IS NOT! So, OOPS on me.

Where is the author?

I know that it's been ages since y'all have seen hide or hair of me and I would like to apologize for that. Unfortunately, I've just been a bit overwhelmed with real life lately. I'd love to say that I've been writing up a storm and soon you'll be inundated with updates but alas, I can not. My writing muse has gone on strike and abandoned me.

I will promise you this...I have not abandoned my stories. They will be finished, of that you can be certain. Please bear with me.

Waiting...

I'm not a waiter. I'm definitely not patient. The problem is, I just hit the send button on the email to a publisher.

I revamped Finally Home and submitted it to a publisher that publishes novellas of an erotica nature into ebooks.

Thought I'd start small and work my way up to an actual book. LOL!

Please keep me in your thoughts and keep your fingers crossed.

I know that I do. Over the Top, All I Ever Knew, City of Dancing Lights and many, many more slash stories are listed on my favorites over at Fanfiction.net. I never thought, I'd be interested in the genre, but I find that I am, as are many others in the Twi-Fandom.

With that in mind, Val, Jen and I are creating a blog just for Twi-Slash. Good Twi-Slash, that is. We will search out and find the stories that are worth your while. We will read them, review them and maybe, fingers crossed chat with the authors.

Our blog will also include pictures and fan art. Val is absolutely amazing when it comes to fan art. Her banners are truly beautiful. She created the banner for Desperation and I love it. I've seen loads of her work and they are all fucking breathtaking.

Lady Muse

The muse is fluttering a bit. I've managed to get about 3 pages wrote today and I'm still plugging away at it.

Also, the hubs goes back to work tomorrow for about 10 straight days, so I'll be able to get some writing accomplished during that time. He's really hard on my writing time. He doesn't mind that I do it, but he gets mad because I cut myself off from the world when I write. I just put the headphones on and hit shuffle on my media player. I turn the music up VERY loud, so I have no distractions and it seriously ticks him off. You'd think that he'd get the point. IF THE HEADPHONES ARE ON, I CAN'T HEAR YOU! LOL!

Writer's block

Writer's block seriously sucks.

As much as I'd like to say, Chapter 16 is nearly done, unfortunately I can't. I have started and stopped it numerous times and it never gets very far. It REALLY sucks to keep everyone waiting, but I just can't rush through it. It has to be right. I'm sorry; it's the perfectionist in me.

Where is Chapter 14?

I know you are all asking this of me in your minds and while I'd like to say it is finished and being proofed, it's just not. It's still in the works and I don't know when it will be done cause it's giving me fits.

This chapter will be introducing new characters which always takes awhile cause I want them to be right.

I'm a perfectionist and I just can't bring myself to post the chapter until it's the best I know it can be. I'm sorry. I'm working as hard and fast as I can, I promise.

April Hits and Visitors

Y'all continue to amaze me with how much you love Desperation!

April was a fabulous month with 3737 Hits and 1250 Visitors.

I can't thank you enough for all your kind words in your reviews and the love that your spreading Desperation.

I've heard that y'all are pimping my story out to your friends and families and I can't thank you enough.

As for the next chapter, it is in the works and while I'd hoped to post it today, I wasn't able to finish it in time. It will however be posted before the end of the weekend.

Breaking the barrier

Last night, Desperation broke it's single day hit record. The previous record was 408 hits in a single day. Yesterday, we broke the 500 mark. Desperation had 528 hits in a single day and 161 new visitors, which is another record.

This is fabulous. I love it and I'm not complaining at all, but if people love this story, WHY ARE THEY NOT REVIEWING MORE? LOL! UGH! I love getting the notifications that people love my story enough to add it and me as an author to their alerts and favorites, but I'd love to know what the readers think of each chapter. I'd love to hit double digits for a single chapter when it comes to reviews.

Chapter 12~2 steps forward; 1 step back

I'm so sorry for my continued evilness. It won't be much longer I promise. Jasper is just determined to make this perfect for Bella and completely different than anything he's done in the past. I'm just glad that someone walked in, I do believe he'd been quite upset with himself.

Holy Cannoli!!

It's been 2.5 hours since the new chapter hit the web and my story stats have EXPLODED!!

I always check right before and right after posting and today I had 7 hits. Now 2.5 hours later I have 167 hits! 160 hits in 2.5 hours, OMFG!! I'm ecstatic.

Until today the record was a 132 hits and 47 visitors. The 160 has not only blown the hits record to bits, but now we've blown the visitors record away with 56 visitors today.

I love you all!! Thank you so much for reading my story. Now, if only I could get you to review it more.

Chapter 9~Mean Girls

Ok, so the chapter has been proofed, edited and published. I'm really proud of it. I made one of my proofers gag. LOL!! It was just too funny.

The chapter is named after the song Mean Girls by Sugarland. High school girls are mean, but can you imagine how mean it would get if they were fighting over him?

Chapter 9, like chapter 8, is giving me troubles. My proofers think it sounds great, but to me it just doesn't.

Parts of it feel like I've skipped over stuff I shouldn't have and parts feel like I'm droning on.

I had hoped that I would be able to publish Chapter 9 tonight, but I'm not too hopeful.
