A re-vamping of HoR!

So, for a while now, I've been contemplating my writing and this blog and with the recent rash of shit that's taken place on FanFiction, I've decided that I'm going to post all my stories here as well as there that way I won't lose them.

In addition to my Twilight stories I'll be posting my Queer as Folk stories here as well. That's right I'm now dividing my time between two fandoms and that's not an easy thing to do when you're raising a family. LOL! Thank God for my blackberry.

The name of the blog may also change. House of Rathbone was the perfect title when my heart was owned by the one, the only Jackson Rathbone, but with the discovery of Gale Harold aka Brian Kinney, I must make room in my heart, blog and life for the sexiness of Brian Fucking Kinney and his Sunshine boy. Hope y'all don't mind. LOL! (I'm sure you won't as there's no such thing as enough. Especially when talking about hot slashy goodness.)

Where is Chapter 14?

I know you are all asking this of me in your minds and while I'd like to say it is finished and being proofed, it's just not. It's still in the works and I don't know when it will be done cause it's giving me fits.

This chapter will be introducing new characters which always takes awhile cause I want them to be right.

I'm a perfectionist and I just can't bring myself to post the chapter until it's the best I know it can be. I'm sorry. I'm working as hard and fast as I can, I promise.

April Hits and Visitors

Y'all continue to amaze me with how much you love Desperation!

April was a fabulous month with 3737 Hits and 1250 Visitors.

I can't thank you enough for all your kind words in your reviews and the love that your spreading Desperation.

I've heard that y'all are pimping my story out to your friends and families and I can't thank you enough.

As for the next chapter, it is in the works and while I'd hoped to post it today, I wasn't able to finish it in time. It will however be posted before the end of the weekend.

Breaking the barrier

Last night, Desperation broke it's single day hit record. The previous record was 408 hits in a single day. Yesterday, we broke the 500 mark. Desperation had 528 hits in a single day and 161 new visitors, which is another record.

This is fabulous. I love it and I'm not complaining at all, but if people love this story, WHY ARE THEY NOT REVIEWING MORE? LOL! UGH! I love getting the notifications that people love my story enough to add it and me as an author to their alerts and favorites, but I'd love to know what the readers think of each chapter. I'd love to hit double digits for a single chapter when it comes to reviews.
